On November 15, Zhao Ruheng, Vice President of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University(PolyU), Yu Changyuan, President of the PolyU (Jinjiang) Institute of Technology Innovation, and Chen Cuifang, Assistant Director of the Knowledge Transfer and Entrepreneurship Office, visited our university. President Chen Changping met with the delegation.

Chen Changping, on behalf of the university, extended a warm welcome to Vice President Zhao Ruhengand his delegation, and hopedthis visit would deepen PolyU’s understanding of QNU’s and its role in serving regional economic and social developmentand thus couldaccelerate the cooperation between the two universities. Zhao Ruheng introduced PolyU’s background, development goals, and strategic direction. He hoped that both sides would further broaden areas of cooperation, establish a long-term mechanism for exchange and collaboration, and jointly provide innovative technology and intellectual support for local economic and social development.
During their visit, Zhao Ruheng and his delegation conducted on-site inspections of the Quanzhou Cultural Heritage Research Institute, the Nanyin Culture Inheritance and Development Collaborative Innovation Center, and the Institute of Photonics Technology.
