Recently, the German academic publishing group Thieme announced the list of winners of the 2024 "Thieme Chemistry Journals Award", an international academic award. Dr. Lei Jian from the "Marine and Biomedical Research Group" of QNU College of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science was successfully selected.
The Thieme Chemistry Journals Award has been presented annually since 1999. It mainly targets outstanding early-career independent researchers worldwide, with the goal of recognizing and encouraging the new generation of organic chemists. In 2024, a total of 107 emerging organic chemists from around the world received this honor.
