QNU has achieved remarkable success at the 7th National College Students Art Exhibition and Performance Festival organized by the Ministry of Education,obtained two first prizes and an award for outstanding creativity. Among the award-winning entries, a case study titled “Infusing Aesthetic Education Through Heritage: Building a Nanyin Intangible Cultural Heritage Base,” developed by the team led by Professor Chen Enhui from the School of Music and Dance, received the first prize. In addition, the dance piece “The Stone-Carrying Huian Women,” choreographed by Professor Weng Shihui and instructor Chen Ren, was awarded first prize in performance. As the only representative from Fujian province in the dance category, the work also received the Outstanding Creation Award.
